Midfielder Patrick
Bexfield was in Norwich's Under-16 squad for the 2004/5 season,
having joined from Cambridge United in 2001. In January 2005,
he was offered a scholarship with Norwich City to commence at
the start of the 2005/6 season.
He was named FONCY Young Player of the Year for the 2005/6 season
A regular in the reserves and appearing on the substitute's bench
for the first team at the end of the 2006/7 season, Patrick was
awarded his first professional contract on 11th May 2007. Ricky
Martin said Patrick joined the Academy a few years
earlier. He was with me when I was at Cambridge United. He progressed
throughout the schoolboy squads very well and has a good technical
and tactical knowledge and understanding of the game. He's been
a very consistent player for the under-18s and the reserve team
and last summer he was involved with the first team in pre-season
                games."
Patrick was one of nine players released by Norwich on 6th May
2008. He had not made a first teamappearance during 2007/8
In mid-July 2008, Patrick joined Cambridge United on trial along
                with Matthew Halliday, QPR's
Aaron Goode and former Manchester United striker Ramon Calliste.
Patrick signed for Ridgeons League side Wisbech Town on 7th August
2008 and made his debut two days later. Unfortunately, 30 minutes
into the match he fell awkwardly under challenge and badly broke
his left arm close to the wrist. He was quickly released by the
Fenmen but signed for Ridgeons League rivals Needham Market.

In July 2009, Patrick joined Cambridge City on trial along with
former Cambridge United keeper Jamie Waite and Stanway midfielder
Angelo Harrop. He signed a one year contract with Cambridge City
in August 2009. After featuring also for Biggleswade, Bexfield
signed for Kings Lynn Town in early August 2010
Bexfield left Kings Lynn in December 2011 and signed for Corby
Town. He rejoined Cambridge City in February 2012.
He began the 2015-16 season with St Ives Town before joining Soham Town Rangers in September 2015 and then moving to Histon in February 2016 on dual registration.
