Nottingham born defender Peter Burrows was a trainee professional with Norwich during the 1991/92 season. Played for Nottinghamshire county school sides at Under-13, Under-14, Under-15 and Under-16 levels and attracted the attention of both Nottingham clubs. However his headmaster Gordon Scott was an avid Canaries fan and recomended Norwich to young Peter. He attended trials with the Canaries and eventually signed trainee professional forms. He came from a sporting family with his older brother Ian playing as a semi-professional with Ilkeston Town.

Eventually released by Norwich, Peter has disappeared into oblivion but if anyone knows his current whereabouts, please let me know via email to swhitlam@hotmail.com
