Darren Crowfoot

Norwich Career: Youth (1993/94)
Current Club: Bemerton Heath (Wessex League)
Date of Birth: 16/12/1975
Nationality: English

Biography

Winchester born Darren was a trainee professional with Norwich City in the 1993/94 season. His misfortune was to be in the same batch of young Canaries as current number one Andy Marshall. Darren later played for Hampshire side Eastleigh but the November 1998 issue of Team Talk magazine informed me that Darren had left Dr Martens Southern Division side Bashley to join Colden Common. He left Bashley just as Stacey Kreft joined the club. After playing for minor league sides Winchester Castle and Bournemouth Poppies, Darren joined Dr Martens League side Bashley on June 18 2001.

Along with teammates Kevin Brewster and Martin Beck, Darren quit Bashley on 1st February 2002 to team up with their coach Bob Higgins at Winchester City. However it appears this move had the blessing of Bashley whose squad was large. In return Winchester would let Crowfoot act as cover for Bashley where needed.

Darren is currently playing for Bemerton Heath of the Wessex League
