Biography

Anayo is a central defender from Nigeria who played for Norwich in their 1998/99 Academy side. Anayo, who lived in Islington, began at Arsenal's Centre of Excellence. He wasn't happy thyere and left to join Chelsea where he played for their Under-15s. When things didn't work out there, someone gave him Norwich scout and coach Roy Massey's phone number which led to a trial with Norwich. He played in the A team and then signed as a trainee.

In October 1998, he moved to join Reading's academy side but was released in March 1999. After a spell with Harrow, he joined Flackwell Heath in October 2001 but moved onto ambitious young side Enfield Town in January 2002, after impressing in a friendly against the RAF. He has since departed from Enfield as their website do not list him in their squad for this season's campaign in the Essex Senior League.
