Former Norwich City
schoolboy Jamie Forshaw joined Southend United's youth team and
won a call- to the Scotland Under-16 squad in August 2006.
After a loan spell during 2008/9 with Bishops Stortford, Forshaw
was one of seven players released by Southend on 11th May 2009
After a successful trial, Jamie signed for Ebbsfleet United on
29th July 2009 along with defender Jordan Collins, forward James
Lindie and winger Ishmael Welsh
Jamie spent some time at Ashford Town on loan earlier in the 2009/10
season before being released by Ebbsfleet in February 2010 after
making 13 appearances for the Fleet, 11 of which had come from the
bench. On 9th February 2010, Jamie signed for Lowestoft despite
interest from Braintree. He made his debut that day in a 2-1 win
over Tilbury in the Championship Manager Cup.
