Biography

When Paul Lambert was appointed Norwich city manager on 18th August 2009, he brought with him from Colchester Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa. Karsa had also been Youth Development Officer at Wycombe, Leyton Orient, Barnet and Charlton

Karsa, Culverhouse and Lambert helped Norwich to the Division One title in their first season at Carrow Road, followed by a second place finish in the Championship in 2010/11. In their first season in the Premiership, Norwich finished 12th.

When Paul Lambert quit to take charge at Aston Villa, Karsa and Culverhouse followed, leaving Norwich on 5th July 2012 to take up similar roles at Villa Park.

In April 2014, Karsa and Culverhouse were suspended by Villa after being accused of bullying and aggressiveness by players and other staff members. They were sacked in May 2014.

On 16th October 2015, he joined QPR as head of academy recruitment.
