Date of Birth: 08/07/1979

Biography

Danish Youth and Schoolboy international Anders Koogi followed Kit Carson from his Canary Rangers to Peterborough at the age of 12/13. Anders progressed through Peterborough's youth and reserve ranks to make his league debut as substitute on the final day of the 1998/99 season against Scarborough. Anders plays in midfield in an anchor role.

Anders' contract expired at the end of the 1999/2000 season and with the Posh attempting to reduce their wage bill, any new contract would be on reduced terms. Preparation for a new beginning began in February 2000 when Anders joined Cambridge City of the Dr Martens League on loan. Anders then went to Southend United on trial at the beginning of April 2000 as he searches for a new club. At the end of July 2000, Anders joined Cambridge United on loan, seeking to win a permanent contract at the Abbey Stadium.

Anders eventually returned to Denmark and rebuilt his career with Danish First Division side Koge. He is currently with Roskilde BK
