A youth team product who failed to dispossess Chris Woods and Graham Benstead in the Norwich goal. After a loan spell at Plymouth, he moved to Gillingham where he gained attention as Britain's only Asian player. After 90 appearances for Gillingham, Harvey moved on to Kettering but also trained with the Canaries, he;ping out by making stand-in appearances for their Reserves side.
