Central midfielder Johnbull Osemwegie joined Norwich City's academy as a first year scholar in September 2008 after impressing on trial. He was previously at Manchester City

In March 2010, he had a trial with Rochdale. At the end of March, Norwich announced that they would not be giving him a professional contract. He trialled with Northampton Town at the end of April 2010, playing in a 3-0 defeat at home to Ipswich's reserves.

on 27th July 2010, Johnbull played for Dundee United on trial against Raith Rovers, which United won 5-0
