Aston Villa youngster Tom Poston played for Norwich City's Under
19 Academy side in a friendly clash with Peterborough on 9th January
1999. Norwich won 4-0 and Poston impressed on the left-wing. Tom
has since materialized at Kidderminster Harriers where he is a
regular in their Reserves team. In April 2001, Tom was playing
for Moor Green of the Dr Martens League - whether this was a permanent
move or not is currently unclear. In March 2002, it was reported
that Poston had signed for Worcester City from Hednesford Town.
However Worcester released him two months later.
In January 2002, he played for Luton Reserves against Brentford
Reserves. Two months later, he trialled for Queen of the South
but by December 2002, was playing for lowly Alvechurch. He is
believed to have trialled alongside Louis
Blois for the Toronto Lynx in January 2004.
