Alex Roberts joined Norwich City at Under-14 level having previously played for Peterborough. He is a direct forward and attacking minded.

He was called up to the Welsh Under-15 squad for a clash against Cyprus in August 2019 with Roberts coming on as substitute and scoring Wales' second goal in a 4-2 defeat.

He was one of a number of Under-16s who played for Norwich's Under-18s on 11th September 2021 in a 4-1 defeat to Brighton with Roberts coming on as a 64th minute substitute. He made a total of eight appearances for the Under-18s in 2021/22.

He signed an apprenticescholarship contract with Norwich in July 2022

He signed his first professional contract at the end of October 2022. "I'm over the moon to sign my first professional deal," he said. "It's every kid's dream to sign a professional contract, so I'm really happy to be at Norwich City."
