Hugo Valencia Gomez made his debut for Norwich's Under-18s on 14th January 2023 coming on as substitute in a defeat against Chelsea. He is a midfielder who was born in Cuenca, Spain.

He was announced as part of the 2023 academy scholar intake by Norwich on 7th July 2023.

Hugo signed his first professional contract with Norwich on 11th July 2025. He said: "Honestly, I'm lost for words. I'm ready for the future and I can't wait to get going again. I was out injured for a long time, so I had lots of doubts about myself and my future. It was very emotional when I received the news, I really thank the club for the opportunity."
