Fullback Daniel Perry from Welwyn Garden City has trained with Norwich City according to the Official Spurs website who documented his career when he was playing for their Under-17 Academy side. He has also played for Bengeo Tigers and Cuffley.

On 23rd April 2003, Daniel trialled for Cambridge United's reserve team alongside fellow triallists John Sutton and David Lee. Cambridge won 3-0. Daniel eventually transferred his scholarship to Cambridge during the summer of 2003.
